Grab & Go breakfast. The history of Los Angeles began in 1781 when 44 pobladores journeyed over one-thousand miles from central New Spain (modern day Mexico) and established a farming community in the area naming it "El Pueblo de Nuestra Señora la Reina de los Ángeles de Porciúncula". Over time this community would grow under the flags of Spain, Mexico and eventually the United States to become one of the largest, culturally diverse metropolitan cities in the world, the City of Los Angeles. The charm of this metropolis is largely linked to the legends and the history of cinema and the world of entertainment which is why the most famous district of the city is Hollywood with its many iconic attractions. Starting with the storied Hollywood sign overlooking the city – now for over 100 years and the Hollywood Walk of Fame with its over 2000 embedded stars honoring film industry greats and celebrities alike to Grauman's Chinese Theatre with its celebrity hand and footprints made in the cement of the theatre's forecourt. Olvera Street, the oldest part of Downtown Los Angeles, is part of the El Pueblo de Los Angeles Historic Monument and where several 19th century buildings still stand today. The tour ends in Hollywood; the bus does not return to the hotel, but continues with the optional excursion "Los Angeles by the beach" to enjoy the beautiful beaches and Santa Monica. Overnight stay. Accommodations at the hotel.

Buffet breakfast. Early departure to visit the magnificent Antelope Canyon: not as well known as the Grand Canyon, this spectacle of nature carved out of sandstone by the wind and water that formed the walls, is famous for its red rocks with violet and orange tones and for the impressive effects of light. We will continue through Bryce Canyon where you can admire the still strange nature of this corner of the American West: colorful rocks and pinnacles sculpted by the natural phenomena of erosion, an amphitheater of needles whose colors vary from day to day, from yellow to orange, from pink to red or purple. We will spend the night at the hotel.
