100% Geyser, Glacier, Grand old time with Bisons in line
By: Anonymous | Fri Sep 20, 2019 at 12.00 AM
An efficient itinerary using Salt Lake City as a gateway (one of the cheapest airport to fly to), though a longer drive for our guide Alex.
We did hiking - up the glacier lake overlook and canyon vista, down the river bank; swimming - again..st river chill while soaking in hot spring. Some of us had a crash course of very first camping experience, trying to fit in a sleeping bag. Lunch on the go with hearty tasty dinner cooked every day. Starry night, surrounded by invisible (occasional audible) wildlife buddies, we savored wine, tea, played game by the camp fire. Breakfast is important for most and there were variety of options for us to choose. Though we were rushing every morning to eat, I wish we could get up earlier to see at least one sunrise.
Alex, the most knowledgeable tour guide I've met, introduced us on wide-ranging topics, from geology, forestry, wildlife, to history, all while driving and without referring to a hard copy. There were facts and figures published to educate, also anecdotes and speculations to entertain (or scare some fainthearted).
I only wish longer time spent in Yellowstone. If Grand Canyon is a Yang to top all the national parks, Yellowstone is a Yin with billowing steam exuding everywhere in sight, provoke all imaginations wild and eerie.

100% I got a lot more than expected ... can totally recommend it.

It was my first trip to America and I wanted to see as much as possible. So I booked two tours with them. The 7 days Southwest Highlights and the 7 days Rocky Mountain Explorer Tour including Yellowstone.
I never did camping before and didn..'t know what to expect. I would still prefer a bed than a sleeping bag but I would definitely do it again. It is the best way to meet interesting people from all over the world and it is easy to make new friends while sitting around a campfire. :-)
The organization was perfect and our tour guide Christopher Patrick is an amazing person. He was always patient, caring, friendly and tried to do everything to meet our expectations. He surprised us every day with funny costumes, jokes and his wonderful personality. I expected a good trip and new experiences ... but I got a lot more. I lost my heart to the Mid West and found new friends.
Thank you and THANK YOU Chris. It was the trip of my life!

An unforgettable experience! Packed itinerary but very well organised and executed. Saw some amazing views and scenaries which is well worth the miles travelled. A special shoutout to our friendly guide Alex who clearly knows his stuff and ..loves the landRead full review
Wonderful tour! We did a three day camping tour and although we never camped before, it was a great experience. We learned much about the history of the sites and people. John was our tour guide—he was very patient and we enjoyed the stor..ies he shared. It was nice to have everything planned out for us! Food was good, we stopped often and had plenty of time at each stop. Would definitely book another tourRead full review
We both had an amazing experience seeing some of the best highlights in the southwest parks. Our guide Marie was outstanding and gave us lots of info on all the areas we visited while keeping all of us on track with her superb organisationa..l skills.Read full review
This tour is great! Marie was a fabulous tour guide. Everything was very organized and smooth. Food was good, lodging was good, parks were amazing - I totally recommend. It was a good value as well. I think they under promised and over deli..vered and that is my highest compliment (to get MORE than I hoped). We traveled September 30-October 2 and the weather was ideal. Chilly at night and mornings but perfect in the parks. You MUST do Antelope Canyon add on. Will use this company again. And I will always request Marie.Read full review
It was very good. but we order the sandwich for lunch they bought it from subway. in the case we could buy it ourselves. we didn't know we will stop and eat at restaurant.
Looking for a camping tour, this company seems to be trustworthy, so I contacted me by e-mail. The camp on the first day (at Bryce) I baked marshmallows in the camp at night. The shower room in the campground was good with heating! Hot wate..r is perfect! Hiking is only a short tour and only a short course. Next is safe driving if you want to drive slowly. The air conditioner works well. It seems that there are nine guides belonging to them, and there are many experienced guides. Please note that there is a one hour time difference between Las Vegas and Zion. This group gathered one hour late and everyone was waiting, but the members were all good people and it was a lot of fun!Read full review

Wonderful tour a must see. Only issue, if you are a senior please note the walk at Horseshoe bend is a bit tedious particularly the retun up the hill, however, it is worth seeing.

Fantastic tour for only three days. The Team have put a lot of thought into this extensive itinerary...we covered a lotta miles/kilometres but saw the most impressive sites/parks. Our guide Alex was friendly, informative, patient and profes..sional with the guests. Thanks for a trip we will remember (with the help of lots of great photos) for years to come. Kind Regards Read full review
It was very misleading to charge 65 dollars just for transfer and then charge separate 65 dollars for the entrance...when I was booking the trip it looked like I was paying for admission and not for transfer. Also, they should put some fans.. on the back of the pick up trucks as it gets so hot in that enclosed space and you guys put us there and made us wait for like 25 minRead full review
Where to start. I read the reviews before and understood that this will be my last option and indeed it was. Pick up from Excalibur at 5 am. We were there by 4:45. Our tour guide Henry came around 5. He called out names. Then the bus came a..round 5:10. We thought that’s just a bus to transfer us to the main bus because there was no toilet and it was the most old rickety bus you can imagine.
Bus had no seat belts across, no AC all over. The AC was so poor that people weee suffocating in the afternoon.
Anyways next stop was Bally’s where the bus filled up. We left for horse shoe bend. Henry mentioned first stop was after 2 hrs. So no breakfast no bathroom for 2 hrs. I know he had mentioned in a text the previous night about this but still this was ridiculous for the $300 we paid.
We stopped at a gas station everybody rushed to rest room and bought any food they could. No cup holders so no open coffee cups. Then we stopped little before horse shoe bend. We reached horse shoe bend around 10:30. We were given around 50 mins. Horse shoe vend was spectacular. Lot has changed from the last time I was there in 2012. There were no railings before. Now there were guarded railings on the edge.
Then we started for antelope canyon. We were asked to give $3 per person to the Navajo guide. It was like a tip but I was really ****** off and didn’t want to give. The tour was so rushed. Our guide was of no use. He just wanted to finish off the tour somehow. He wasn’t allowing to take pictures and didn’t offer to take pictures for anyone and just kept rushing us. I saw other tour guides specially few ladies who were helping to take pics and giving time. It was so rushed that we didn’t like the antelope canyon. We didn’t get time to absorb the beauty. I had visited lower antelope canyon before and that was much more pretty.
After antelope, stop was for food. We had paid $10 per person for sandwich. They should have told us before that it was a subway stop. We wouldn’t have paid $10. Why pay $10 for a 6 inch sub of just raw vegetables???? Anyways we ordered more food. Next stop was another store where we took more food as the gas was being filled. We were back by 8 in the hotel.
The driver Mr Ting I believe was not good. He was driving very rash. In the morning I saw him lose control and go over to the opposite lane many times. He was busy trying to hook up his iPad and look something in he iPad and driving with one hand and losing control. Very irresponsible driver.
All in all it wasn’t worth the price.Read full review
Firstly let me say this tour did not disappoint. The scenery was spectacular, our tour guide Evan was interesting, knowledgeable and fun. The group was a great mix of young and old and we all bonded nicely.
Yes it’s a fast paced tour but ..you have to expect that in 3 days. Evan is passionate about the area and wants you to experience as much as possible.
Camping was great, sure it rained and was windy but what do you expect, we’re in the elements. The view of monument valley upon sunrise was worth it. There are lodging options if required.
We also visited a local family for dinner and the Navaho Jeep ride was great.
I travelled solo and was made to feel very welcome. All in all a fantastic tour. Would I recommend it? Hell yeah!!!

I have had the time of my life. It has been an amazing experience. I can't say how much I enjoyed it. Landscapes in the National Parks are breathtaking.
I joined the tour on my own but I met marvelous travel companions. I have to give a ver..y special mention for Chris (travel guide and driver). He made the difference of the tour. He is really professional and loves his work. All decisions he makes are for customers can take the most of the tour. He is wise, sensible, sensitive and really fun person!
I will have these memories in my heart and mind all my life.
This tour is really a good value for money. If by the way you are looking for a trip around Utah and Arizona, please don't hesitate to join the tour. You will have a terrific time without doubt!
