This was an excellent trip. It was an all dayer but well worth the effort. Yosemite national park is such a beautiful park with tall trees and lovely waterfalls. Only disappointment was that we couldn't stay the night and explore more of ..the park the next day. Highly recommend this tour and our tour guide was enthusiastic and knowledgeable. He also didn't talk too much which is sometimes really annoying on these tours, when you just want to soak up the landscape. Excellent, amazing and a great day! Read full review
86% Excellent tour for people who don't have access to a car of their own

This is a really amazing tour to go on, if you're not from around the United States, don't have a car of your own or don't want to use a rental car. The California coast is really gorgeous and this tour more or less captures all the major a..ttractions and highlights! There might be some problems understanding the guide's English, if you're a non-Mandarin speaker, but the guide is really friendly and accommodating. The transportation is pretty decent, the accommodation is top-notch and there are plenty of options for food. Overall, a great experience, for a short 3 day trip in Northern California! First I'd like to compliment the driver who pick us up at the New York Hotel. Jay-she was such a pleasant and amazing driver.
The Grand Canyon is beautiful. Pictures can't even begin to describe what the eyes see. I really enjoyed the to..ur. I was able to get some great pictures. It was just long enoughRead full review
We really enjoyed our tour with tours for fun! The tour was well organized with a lot of the stops in San Fran that I would have wanted to go to and then some. Leo was our tour guide and he allowed for flexibility in the schedule for my fri..end and I to partake in our own adventures. Leo also told us a lot about the areas we were visiting.
We lucked out in that we were able to score tickets to Alcatraz on such a late notice however for other people interested in doing alcatraz tours this may not be the case. My major problem with tours for fun is that they were unable to provide me with a more detailed schedule for the San Francisco tour day and I was unable to purchase Alcatraz tickets in advance because I didn't know when free time would begin. I understand that times are flexible due to traffic etc... but there was no time even suggested for us to attempt purchasing tickets.
***(People interested in ALCATRAZ)This may help future people on this tour. If the tour runs on the schedule we were on it would be safe to book a tour at 12:30pm (we just made it at the 12pm one but that was in the off season). To do this you would be opting out of the optional bay cruise and optional extended city tour (your fellow tour friends are on these tours while you are at alcatraz). When you get dropped off at fishermans warf for lunch you depart the tour group and go right (north) up the coast to pier 33 (about 10min walk).Take your lunch on the alcatraz tour boat on the way there (they have giant sandwiches!) You will probably spend about 2hours on the island to see it all but its possible to do it quicker if you are pressed for time (we saw it all in two hours at a slow pace). On this schedule you will have till 4pm to rejoin our tour group at city hall. You can hangout around fishermans warf or go shopping for awhile and take a taxi to city hall (10min ride). or take a bus/trolley (20min ride but I would give yourself at least an hour for this because of walking time). A trolley is the way to go though in san fran so take the powell/market or powell/mason trolley (can't remember the exact name) it will take you from near fishermans warf to a few blocks from city hall. Ride the trolley from end to end. Ask the friendly trolley drivers if you need help!
I was also a bit disappointed at how little of the 17mile scenic route we saw (it felt like we were on it for less than 2miles and we didn't stop at any lookout points to get off the bus. IF you are sitting on the wrong side of the bus you barely see anything except pebble beach golf course. The stop at Monterey bay made up for it though. We chose not to go in the aquarium and instead we walked down the beach. It is so peaceful and beautiful there. This is the first place we encountered sea lions beached out.
Our last day we opted to do disneyland and we got split up from our group (should have known this but we were a bit unprepared). Be prepared for your luggage to be stored on a shuttle that does not stay anywhere near you. Tours for fun was trustworthy with our baggage but they recommend not leaving anything valuable. I know u will have to leave something valuable because taking it to a themepark also is a bad idea so just lock your bags. The tour through the themepark was guided but we again opted to go our own way and honestly its the fastest way if you do not speak Chinese because everything will then have to be translated/repeated.
OVERALL- I enjoyed the experience! Staff members were always friendly and helpful even when we were a bit diva-ish about making it the best trip ever! The convenience of the tour was worth the price. However I am not sure if missed experiences would be worth the convenience. There were opportunities for experiences and experiences that could have been missed due to the tour schedule. Therefore going your own way via rental car etc.could be more desirable.
Also the hotels they set you up in are all pretty nice :) and that was even with a super-saver package. For food they take you to areas where there are a lot of different options. Even though most guests go to Chinese buffet there are pizza places or wendy's etc for options.I recommend bringing a plethora of breakfast bars, granola bars and also drinks in your day bag. Since meals do not always come as soon as you want them and breakfast pretty much doesn't get done at all (we had to meet with our tour at 6:20am so i wasn't eating before that lol).
Thank you tours for fun! We will recommend you and consider you for future tour needs!

I recently came back from USA and I felt I had to share my experience with everyone.
After a lot of research in internet about which Company to use to travel from Vegas and see the Grand Canyon and the highlights around there, I am so hap..py I finally chose Bindlestiff tours.
My highlight of the trip was of course the helicopter flight over Grand Canyon, which was breathtaking. I would advice anyone to book the 55 mins flight in advance to avoid disappointment, for a bit more money than the 20 mins flight, you will be able to explore the Canyon best.
I was a bit disappointed about not being able to see Bryce national Park, but unfortunately this option is off during the winter.
Our guide, Mike, was very knowledgable , funny but professional and made the whole group bond. We started as 12 strangers and ended the tour as friends .The fact of being a small group made the interaction with each other very easy .
I felt this trip met my expectations if not exceeded them. this is a great choice if you don't have a lot of time to drive freely and you want to see the National Parks highlights around Vegas.
If you are looking and looking and you are not sure which Company you should go for, don't think anymore. Choose bindlestiff tours and it won't disappoint !Read full review

Generally Good. We enjoy it. The guide - Austin was a bit bossy though.
This was an amazing seven day camping trip. Our tour guide Jenn was awesome: organized, knowledgeable, helpful, great story teller, good cook, ... The trip was set up to allow travellers like me, who seldom camp, to be comfortable and see s..ome of the most amazing sights in Utah. Jenn went out of her way to give us a chance to go canyoneering in Moab, woke up at 4:30am and drove us to the rim to see a sunrise at Grand Canyon, and many more. Looking forward to another adventure with Bindlestiff :). Read full review
This trip was no-kidding THE BEST trip I have ever been on. Jen B, our guide was fabulous, energetic, and one of the kindest people I've ever met. She made our trip, educating us on the history of each park we visited, introducing us to so ..many interesting things and people, and sharing her love for nature and travel with us. Camping was great; each campsite we stayed at was clean, safe, and full of interesting people to swap stories with. Bindlestiff Tours was great, sending out reminder emails and keeping us on track up until we left Las Vegas for the actual tour. Great company, fantastic tour leader (more like a super awesome and knowledgeable friend) and the most beautiful scenery to inspire your imagination to dream in colors yet unknown to humanity. Seriously cool stuff, get out there and explore everyone! Thanks, Bindlestiff, and thank you to Jen especially for being totally rad!

Great tour!
I loved the way we were given options for the daily activities rather than having to follow a set itinerary.
I would have preferred it if the guide could have come along with us on all the hikes.
The food was good and there w..as plenty of it made available.
The guide was very informative regarding the areas we were travelling through and about the hiking options available.
The vehicle was very comfortable. Fantastic memories! thank you Bindlestiff ToursRead full review
I decided to see some of the national parks after realising that just seeing cities wouldn't be the best use of my time during a 30 day holiday. Came across this tour on Bindlestiff Tours and after reading the reviews realised that it would.. be ideal for me as a solo female traveller. I wasn't disappointed at all, the communication from Becky was excellent and she made sure that I was accommodated for as I'm a vegan. Cari, the tour leader, was very approachable and helpful, she went out of her way to ensure that there was food that I could eat and checked labels carefully to make sure there wasn't anything in there that wasn't suitable. Our first day in Zion started at the Canyon Overlook trail, a reasonably easy short trail walking along exposed ledges to a beautiful viewpoint. After that we had a delicious dinner, prepared by Cari. The next day was our free day and I decided to do Hidden Canyon which is a gorgeous (albeit slightly perilous) hike up the side of the cliff and down into a small hidden canyon (hence the name). You use chains to pull yourself up some of the ledges where there are drop offs into a ravine. After that I went hiking down the narrows which is where you walk in the river. The views were stunning! At the end of the day we had another delicious meal around the campfire. After that we went to Bryce Canyon which was equally stunning and stayed at a beautiful campground with a hot tub and pool and beautiful showers. We did the Queen's Garden hike down into Bryce Canyon which was a lot of fun. On to Antelope Canyon which is absolutely spectacular. After that we had navajo tacos at Monument Valley and went on a white knuckle jeep ride of the navajo nation. The high winds (over 40mph) didn't deter us from camping and the next day it was on to the Grand Canyon. I did the South Kaibab trail and saw and photographed a California Condor! The last day on Route 66 was fun, stopping at Seligman. This tour had the perfect pacing and had a great atmosphere.Read full review
We found the tour was excellent. Our tour guide J.D. Boyle was very dedicated to making sure everyone was having a good time , and the tour went very smooth. Thanks J.D.
