Chihuahua is the capital city of the state of Chihuahua and is home to more than 800,000 people. The city was founded in 1709 by the Spanish explorer Blas Cano de los Rios. Chihuahua still preserves many valuable and historical monuments and buildings from the 19th and 20th centuries, such as the Temple of San Francisco and the Museo Cassa Juarez.
