"Michigan's Little Bavaria" welcomes more than three million visitors annually thanks to its German-themed stores, restaurants and inns as well as its attractions and festivals. Frankenmuth was settled by German immigrants in 1845 at the suggestion of missionary named Frederick Wyneken. Popular city sites include Bronner's Christmas Wonderland, Zehnder's Holz Brucke, Heritage Park, The Adventure Park, Michigan Military and Space Heroes Museum and Zehnder's Splash Village Hotel & Waterpark.
