Once the cultural center for medieval Germany and currently the political center for the state of Eastern Bavaria, the UNESCO City of Regensburg rests at the edge of the Danube, Naab, and Regen River. Moving through the city one will find a picturesque medieval old town wherein stands the Regensburg Cathedral, a Gothic villa to the King of Bavaria, the Herzogspark botanical gardens, the Wallhalla which mimics the Partheon, and the popular Regensburg sausage kitchen.
