The chain of islands located in Lake Ontario date back to 1787 offer many leisure and recreational activities on their approximate 570 acres that restricts motor vehicles. Centre Island has Centreville Amusement Park with more than 40 rides and attractions as well as Gibraltar Point Lighthouse, Far Enough Farm petting zoo and Franklin's Garden interactive children's garden. Toronto Islands feature great beaches, golf courses, yacht clubs, marinas, ferry rides, bicycle rentals, lighthouses, sailing, picnic areas, playgrounds, tennis courts and a boardwalk.
